182 using oil

hi all my 182 is using oil when i hit 5000 revs im smelling burning oil :S cars on 92k fsh had the car 3 months and im on 2nd bottle of oil now at £15 for a bottle i want to get it sorted any ideas ?

What oil you using ?

i topped it up with shell 5w40 5w40

Have you checked the rocker cover for leakage?
