BBR racing dit it for the previous owner Im not worried about it being at 7200 just confused to why it would return to standard?

Need a bit of advice lads My 182 has been remapped and my rev limeter was up to 8000rpm but after giving her some this morning I noticed it has decided to go back to standard 7200 rpm any ideas why it has done this?

Hi mate this isnt a common problem I know about.With the buying advice I would look for one with both cup packs and make sure the belts have been changed. What sort of budget do you have?

Taking It down to a specialist on Monday to have a look at so hopefully I can find out what the problem is. It seems to make more noise when its cold and quietens down a bit when its warmed up to? Not felt any power loss or the car nearly stalling though.

Got same problem with mine now been told its the tappets by a couple of local gargages but im convinced its the dephaser. it was a very slight ticking to start with which i put down to cams but has got louder all of a sudden.

Nope it hasnt got standard exhaust had full system put on about 2 years ago and hasnt been lowered

I've started to get a knocking sound from the exhaust on my 182 when going over bumps in road. Ive checked my exhaust mounts and they do look quite perished is this a common problem or could it be something different causing the knocking?
