Someone suggested straddling two spaces. I would probably say this is a bad idea as car parks get really hot on fining people for doingthis now - especially if the council runs the carpark
Luckily the fiesta am about to get is a pretty solid car. My dad who also has a fiesta has been in tight...
I used to get this at work (I work in a retail park) For a while I parked my car in the public car park but TWICE I came back to my car to find a trolley had embedded itself in the side.
Now I park round the back where the deliveries are as I just get too hacked off
Lol! I've driven the 130 msport and I'm 19!!
We were in the VW place looking at the new R32, ironically. The byfriend is after one. He always liked the old one but now has fallen in love with the new one. We didnt want a test drive either we know its a good car!
Yeh I have (had to take like a million cars out to decide) I have a bit of a stigma now with the Clios though. After that night standing on a hill seeing my car 10 metres below me on the roof and all my friends hospitalised jsut made me really nervous about them.
My dad has the 1.4 diesel. Its...
I did want the extra weight though. I prefer the feel of the car that way! lol
And due to recent events I feel more secure feeling it may not roll so easy
lol, yes, a fiesta RS would be nice (with smaller bodykit) but alas that idea is no more!
Exactly. I can obviously understand the people with renaultsports who want the car for the speed (more so the track day frequenting crowd)
I wanted a bigger engine but didnt need anything too beefy or 'roaring'. The interior quality outdoes the Renaultsports and the options offered on my...
You know some of you people could be a little more polite than just completely salg other peoples cars off. While I dont like the renaultsports I have not done this about yours. I think a lot of people need to stop reading reviews from biased sources or random mags and actually compare the two...
Well I've just traded in the Clio for the fiesta ST.
While I wanted a bigger engine - speed didnt drive me into a sportier hatch, its just useful on the motorway to have a 2litre.
I've now driven clio renault sport and ST. and I think the St is so much nicer to drive. To be able to corner hard...
End of the line for me and renault :(
After having test driven the bmw 1 series MSport today, I'm going to join the barry boy world of the BMW driver.
Instantly sold I'm afraid, to sit in it I was instantly struck by the quality. It drives like a dream with so little noise (which I'm sure...
I've deleted nothing :) would have been nice to have been told too!
Although it would be nice if you were all a little more subtle about criticising me for it - whether or not I did it!
hmm, well i always thought that too. nthing wrong with the road. took it the same as always, and slower. Though tbh I have a friend who has done a few small races in a few hatches and is adament the fiesta handling is second only to the golfs
Ok, not so bad (though when the bf rolled the last car they nearly died)
Coming round a corner that I take at 40+ in the fiesta (on a 60mph, fairly lengthy corner with a bit of a dodgy camber) Did it today at about 30-35, and the car lifted off on the left. Only thing that I tihnk saved us was...
a mosfet at 50w will only give out 12-15w average rms. Normally this is even lower. 12-15 s never enough to sifficiently power any components for the best peformance they can give.
EDIT: have cleaned up the thread a bit. Lets leave some ego's and misinformed opinions at the door please :)
I'd give you advice to be more careful about what you say in posts. No one here is attacking you - just the advice you have given. Please DO NOT star to get personal. No one has made snide remarks, but Dink happens to know a fair bit about audio too as i have learnt, and it may be useful to your...
Your comment about the 50w per channel mofset earlier betrayed the fact you dont really know as much as some of the rest of us. I yself has=ve a few years of experience in car audio, as do several of my friends. Atm I am working on another competition install.
Your advice just isnt on a par...
spykee, Im sorry, but I dont think you know what you're saying. Someof your advice is quite bad.
6x9's tend to sound worse than components. It is all to do with the way they are designed. component speakers handle one frequency range each. 6x9's handle several. Unless you spend A LOT of money...
They Never fitted the part. It is up to them to cover whole cost. If they do not agree, get straight down to citizens advice bureau and contact someone if you need to take it further. If it were me I'd be asking for them to pay for MOT seocnd time too
6x9's?! oh dear.... lol. Are you amplifying your speakers?
I doubt you'd get very good SQ from that, sony tend to bemore worried about looks than sound. Some very good cheap pioneers are on the market atm
How long ago was that now though?
P77 is aging a bit now. There is some discussion about component quality. In my experience tere hasnt been a dramatic downfall or anything
