Posted up ages ago that i wanted rid, no interest. So i chopped it in.
Wanted it gone, as daily driving it was worried about cambelt going etc as being so close and people having them go on here.
In the end, i started taking the bike to work.
no, 68k on clock, needs cambelt + aux belt + 72k service, front bumper is cracked, rear right bumper is scuffed. Light key scratch in LH quarter panel. Rear discs are shot, exhaust is nearly gone too.
Prob worth no more than £4800 when all that right, so saved the cash & got a car for the...
Yes, the guide involves going to halfords and basically bodging a ford escort rubber hanger into the bracket.
Tbh, for £11 each its probably not worth doctoring the bracket and if you come to sell the car privately, it just looks a mess.
£11 every 3 years isnt too bad for a perishable item.
Basically, over time the rear back boxes sag, as the rear exhaust hangers rubber wears out, causing the back boxes to sag / droop. In turn this puts pressure on the cat, it pivots on the front hanger of the back boxes, and pushes the rear of the cat upwards. Obviously the cat is fixed to the...
Tbh, it does look sh*t.
Makes it look like its a 1.2 made to look like a RS Clio.
I would ditch the 2nd exhaust, the rear tints, the rear lights, the wheels for one colour 12 spoke 17"s.
It will be covered, ring them up and ask them.
Sales of goods act covers you, something about an item should be fit for purpose.
A tv should last 5 years or so..
In short, today i received an email from Natwest apparently, well looks like they messed up, as i can now access there website they used to email people.
Funny, as i just sent someone 1000 emails..
The source from the email is...

As title really, front seat passenger seat fails to go back all the way, had a look underneath, runners look clear, tried the usual force it back with legs.
Just twists and seat move bar just comes off. Put it back on, and seat comes back to normal in its 'i wont go back anymore state'.

Pads can go either way, aslong as the lug is in the right way for the handbrake.
How about you push the piston in further, ie right in with the handbrake off. Need large screwdriver and turn it in.
Then put pads in, with the aid of a hammer etc.
Its just annoying, as you mention mileage issues, and people tend not to be interested, offer a lower p/x value.
Its different on a p/x, i tell them what the mileage is, and they read the clocks then cant add it up till i explain.
Would you correct them on the mistake, or just let it go.
Cant get renault to do it now, as the car is well out of warranty, and if i did it would make all the services messed up.
Its more the problem with selling and p/x'ing the car on. When i mention mileage issues, they all seem to shudder and offer a really sh*t price.
Im unsure how much...
Back in the days of December 2004, i had a little issue with the Clio 182 & the cruise control.
The cruise control would be selected to 70mph, though the speedo would read closer to 80mph. Not very good.
I spoke to renault about this, they took the car in and fixed the fault. They...
