i want some of better quality... they are a really good fit... and i want some better for the front then im going to stick the infinity in the back.
they didnt fit atfirst but i ripped half the speaker grille off and then put material over it with a slit in the middle to pop the tweeter bit...
what speakers would i be able to fit in the doors if i went about cutting some holes.... could i gget 6" or bigger in there if i got or made some kind of spacer to stop the speaker going in too far?
I was thinking of getting that amp for the sub, and then the kenwood 6201 to power my front comps when i get updated speakers.... maybe this summer i will cut a hole in my door to fit something bigger than the ones in my dash.
I have just had to rip out a few of the lines accross the mk1 dash grilles.... any suggestions what i could do with them as there is a big hole there now with a tweeter hanging out... mainly this is to cover the speaker from theiving scum
So.... i will probably go for the fusion for now... because i can get it for just under a ton with free p & p.... maybe though i will get the diamond later on.
The Infinity Perfect 12.1 sub put up against the diamond audio Diamond DIAMCM312D2 http://www.autoentertainment.net/shopexd.asp?id=162http://www.autoentertainment.net/shopexd.asp?id=162 or the fusion few-12...
what about the infinity reference 4002i .... just for some 10cm speaker upgrades then...... i have heard a few but the bass on all of them sounds non existent so i want some with a bit of punch... not heard any infinity 10cm yet
Ok so would that be an amp for the subs and a different amp for the comps... if i did do that where would i plug the 2nd amp since i know where the first would go.... could i just use another pre-out for another amp? there are 3 in total on the head unit i have.
So the speakers in the front and back are the same..
Would you suggest updating back speakers and front, and then a sub or would front components 6*9s and a sub be better.... because i have no speakers in the doors it would mean a lot of f**king about to get bigger than 10cm
Ok i just want to clear a few things up.
What size speakers are in the back of the car.
What is the difference between 10cm and 13cm even if power rating is the same i.e. why would it be better to get 13cm if they are both rated at 50watts rms.
Would putting a sub in the boot with 6*9s f**k...
is cutting a hole in the plastic door card easy enough to do?
i wuld just be a bit scared of it cracking... but in the last couple of days i have been thinking of getting comps instead of 6*9s
