failing that ... look on SQ plus for a bit of a guide (in installs, then mild i think)
i reckon though as its only a fiberglass sub box and securing an amp to the side no more than £400 at a guess.

planning on doing something like that but a little bit more extreme to get a much larger box.. IIRC thats only 0.8 cubes.

you saved £16...
but i know window excess has gone up by a tenner... they have now put on a young persons excess of £350 from £150.... and i had lost the ability to drive any car.
cheeky indeed.
can you just get these features added onto an exsiting alarm.. was thinking of getting the concept 300 but it doesnt have the windows up feature.
and i must turn my ignition off at least 3 times a night when my windows are still down, right pain in the arse....
for around £100 i reckon...
phoned up asda, all is fine now i suppose.
apart from i didnt know what my car was.... she couldnt find it.
she said it was a cliosport 1.4 with no 8v or 16v on it........
what insurance group is the car then..
its a 1.4 sport s. dunno about what valve though, cant find it...
yeah seems funny to me too...
but it did have 160 on the clock which seems a bit much for 106 top speed.
and the insurance being a lot dearer .
i have a normal mk1 clio 1.4 now insured with norwich union for £750 and they wont touch me on the new car. seems funny to say some...
Is a w reg clio 1.4 sport.
2800 47k on the clock.

Wisebuyers are saying thats the stats, and its an insurance group 3... However some insurance quotes im getting back are not like that of a group 3...
lol...
he asked for a sub and amp for 150.. if thats his budget then surely posting something within that budget would help... i could ask for a £300 sub and you could always say... well save up and get something better geez.
if he wants bass then even an splx sub would do that, at...
can somebody list a few of them please...
i am trying to find one that sold diamond audio subs and dls speakers... but cant find it anywhere, wasnt CAD by the way....
if anybody can throw up a list i could look through to familiarise myself with the site that would be great.
lol at the price for climate control.
im guessing that the head unit and speakers are worth around £100 IF THAT. speakers maybe upgraded but they still wont be anything special.
youve got a diesel, why worry about fuel.
if you are worried though about weight, why not go for a four channel amp, saves messing with more wires and surely lighter than 2 seperate amps.
oh and from the front, the focals would be great but sound arse if not amped up, similar with any comps reeally, you couldnt go wrong with dls r5a really neither
listen to rorrie...
i would deffo go for an re8 from <A target=_blank href= "http://www.caraudiodirect.comwww.caraudiodirect.com like he said, maybe search for a cheap 2 channel maystar/mac audio.magnat amp that can be bridged to run 2ohm stable.
a lot better than vibe subs and all most active...
If the subs are bouncing around maybe the hole is slightly to big/small for the subs, or maybe there are not secured in properly.
Also is the box secured down to the floor of the boot?
Hey BRUN, another talkaudio member :D
depends on how you want it to look.... what i did to design mine was just draw out my boot on paper and then fill in how i wanted it to look with subs and amps etc.
a friend of mine has a sub in the middle then 6*9s at either side
like this
/ 6*9 \ O / 6*9 \ with / \ being...
dont use different sized subs.
diffeeencies in frequencies and the sound they make due to diffeerent brands etc will sound awful and sq will suffer.
stick to 1 15 or 2 12.s
