my rear gearbox mount (95' valver) is split and will obviously need to be replaced soon. car still changes gear but bit jumpy. Renault quoted me £70 to do. that seems fairly cheap to me. just wondering if I can get it done cheaper than that! seeing as this was a renault quote. cheers

you won't notice any difference yourself. but your engine will stay happy for longer. cleaner. only thing i've noticed is that it lasts longer on motorways.

i been quoted £141 to fix mine. Doesn't sound like a price to match an easy job. what car is it? mine's on a valver.
