i know they are fairly nifty at producing fairly ear killing subs. but what are their speakers like? i just want the little 10cm coaxials so go where the standard reno rear speakers went. don't want 6x9s or n e of that s**t.
could it not just connect to a phono box. pioneer do one for £50. jus stick it in one of your footwells and connect the ipod kit to that. i;ve jus connected mine through a phono aux cable. don't wanna show the thieves an ipod cradle!
My friend is an absolute 205 gti nut and loves his laser green special ed to bits, i must admit so do i.
But you still wouln't catch me driving one home.
the 1.9 gti and the valver are fairly closely matched so thought b interesting see what everyone thinks.

don't 1.4s start with more bhp than that? aren't they 75bhp standard?
not my cup of purley lea eitha! mite as well be a corsa or a saxo for all i care.
good good, cheers mate. fingers crossed we have no more annoying little problems with her.
p.s. i know its off the thread, but how long will a gear box mount take to go from slightly bad to really bad? i just get a bit of a knock when changing from 1st to 2nd, not a major knock like u get in...
lol, ye i wouldn't hav got them if i was replacing perfectly healthy reno leads, jus thought, fukit, y not!
but will i notice any difference in power simply from going from unhealthy leads to nice new healthy ones?
i know that my ht leads are screwed as they spark from the coil when ignition turned on and its only sometimes it missfires (so i know its not dizzy cap). how much power am i losing? i've ordered some 8mm magnecore ones jus to giv'em a go, plus thats what hill power use for their ignition kit...
they used sony speakers in my 1.4 RT, and it was a champs ellysees which was the only RT that came with CD player as standard so i thought that those speakers would have been good. but ye, the bass in the valver was well good. i thought phillips was a s**t make, meh. Still gonna get the...
were the speakers installed in the valvers better than what was provided for the lower down clios. I have just installed a pioneer deh8400mp headunit and only have the two front original speakers and the sound they give out is bloody impressive. I know its a very good headunit but would it...
my zorst is fuckt because of the gritting w*****s. seriously metro-fied. Not a happy bunny, is the only thing that takes the mintness away from my valver beasti.
Should my engine have one of those plenum covers? i;ve got the F16 blue rocca cover (im on my second one of those already!)...
toyos, plenty o grip and they let you know when they're about to give in at the back, eagle's grip and grip and then just let go, good way to give your clio to a hedge!
good sounds, is fairly quiet compared to the k-tec i had on my old mk.1 RT though, that was like riding a jet engine bare back, NOISY AS f**k! was the 4.5" back box tho. stupid slagged up car, lol.
valver leads are sparking all over the place, losing power, unhappy to be overtaken by a gt tdi golf (130bhp) yesterday.
Budget not huge, but will pay for quality if recomended. what about these things i found on ebay...
i've got no amps, still have original head unit which doesn't even work. im fairly nice to her also. only rag her when im back in surrey, especially now she's got real tyres wrapped round her little feet. no more bullshit michelin energy for me. but ye, ah well. ungrateful car, once she's...
What normally causes alternator failure? i have the car up at uni, and live pretty much in the centre of sheffield so the only journey's i do are lots of 5 minute ones. i know this causes condensation and rusts the zorst. but would this have contributed to my alternator packing up? cheers.
I've never seen any. any one got some. wouldn't mind lookin at a few. i've got internal one by girlfriend that givs nice valver noises. excuse the mug driving it though. 100% standard valver.

cheers for the compliments. picked it up for £2k. bargain. The bloke i bought it off was sellin mainly family saloons, don't think he realised that a mint one with low mileage worth bit more than £2k. Was bloody lucky, the others i looked at were all chaved up trolleys.
hope to c ya at a...
Nice to have a site dedicated to clios, renaultsportsclub seems to have all sorts on there!! not even all renaults.
