Im getting about 30... ive never seen the MPG go above 28. Ive done 645 miles so far... i drive about 1-2 miles a day in my 182 and loads at the weekends when I drive the tits out of it. Bad for the engine yes but I will have done sod all miles when I hand in backk in a few years.

My 182 starts first time but is by no means happy about it.... it then takes about 15-20 seconds of the engine being a little bubbly and laggy before it kicks into life and drives as normal.

Just on this topic.. What does the engine sound like on every one elses 182.. when I sit there listening to it i hear a tapit type noise... is this normal.. ive never had a clio let alone a 182 before.

Build quality is obviously not going to be as good as the Golf... but once you drive it a bit your fall in love. How fast is the Golf and whats it like round corners ... a guy at work has one and he is a cocky sh*t... will I OWN him in my 182 ?

Hi DavidH, perhaps this will answer your questions. Like yourself I was worried bout the build quality on the car, but I brougt one anyway because we have another car in the house and its under warranty if anything mega happens... Your find with a 182 (well my 182) that you get small rattles...

In my opinion the silver (no cup option) wheels look better on the blue (what ever you want to call it) 182 while the darker (cup option) wheels looking better on the titanium silver. I havent seen any other 182 in the other colours

Before I got the car I tested a 182 with and without the cup packs.. There was a noticable diffirence in the ride (nothing huge but still).. I found the car leaned a little more round corners .... the ride was more comfortable without the cup pack when just going down the street. The CUP...

Just to add my two cents.. When the delivered my car it had a full tank... not sure what they put in it (I am 90% sure it was some crap)... Anyway after I drained the whole tank by driving like an arse for the weekend I filled up with some BP 97 super and there WAS a noticable diffirence...
