The UCH is some little computer thing that controls the cars electronics, I think. I'm sure I saw it on the left in the passenger footwell when I was looking for something else the other day - actually said UCH on it iirc.
At the end of the day I don't think there is really that much between them. You are probably better off going for a 182 with plenty of warranty remaining!
There was a thread on this the other day and I think someone mentioned that it was an 18 month contract as well.
Not sure myself. Looks quite tempting.
I bought a 2 year old 172 a year ago and its been ok. I've had a few niggles with it, rear shocks needed replacing, rattles, ticking, but (touch wood) nothing too serious yet.
Yes, the warranty can be transferred - I had a few things done under warranty.
For the money it is a great little...
I bought an Epson Stylus Photo R220 recently. Not too expensive, decent make, prints photos well, quite fast, fairly compact, and it prints directly onto CD's. I'm pretty happy with it.
EDIT: oh, and 6 ( I think 6 ) seperate ink cartridges so you can just replace the black if you do a lot of...
At the time my drivers would go down but only sometimes went up. To make it go up I just pissed about with the button until it obliged. Often I ended up pushing the button down and holding it and then the window went up!!!?
When I took it into Renault they replaced the UCH and that fixed it...
I found one in the fuse box marked as for electric windows, but when I took it out only the passenger side on stopped working and my drivers side one still went down. Which was very annoying since it was broken at the time, and didn't want to go back up! grrr.
I've never had any problems either! You lot must be a bit inexperienced ;)
The one time I did have a problem was when the lock on the petrol cap was frozen solid and I couldn't get it off. Had to just drive away without buying any fuel in the end!
Once you've jump started the car it should continue to run once disconnected as the alternator should be generating the power the engine needs to run and charging the battery at the same time.
I guess the problem may be that the battery has drained as it has been stood for a while and might...
That looks quite interesting. The only thing that might put me off is the 40Gb download limit. Though I've rarely, if ever, done more than that in a month.
Some sites don't like too many concurrent connections from the same person. I.e. if you browser tries to download, say 10 pics at the same time, some may get a "too many connections" error from the server and not download.
I'm not sure what you could do about it though if it were this...
Washed with, <cough>, turtle wax wash and wax - it's all I had:o
Rinsed then dried with a microfibre cloth
Applied Meguiars Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner Step 1 with megs applicator pad and polished off with a microfibre cloth.
Applied Meguiars Deep Crystal Polish Step 2 with applicator and...
No, I didn't. I looked at Megs quick clay in Halfords, but decided against it. Maybe next time......:rasp:
:quiet:
Nah, I don't like that stuff. Had it on when I bought the car and everytime I went near it to check the tyres or wash it I ended up covered in black goo. :S
Yup, it was worth it. Wont be spending that much time again for a while though! Kept looking like it was going to rain as well, and I was thinking "don't dont' dont'"... and it still hasn't :D. Sure it will be mucky again by the end of the week! Ah well, never mind - I know it still comes...
.. but I don't usually spend 4.5 hours cleaning the car either! Can't believe I spent so long - enjoy! :approve:
Washed, followed by the Meguires treatment, paint cleaned, polished and waxed. I can see all the stone chips on my bonet now  Oh well, at least it is less swirly...
My 52 plate 172 does exactly this. Renault dealers said they couldn't hear anything unusual when I took it in to them, so I'm just ignoring it for now.
Yeah, they are quite good. Only really suitable for indoors, and still difficult to fly, but you can get a simulator for the PC and plug the controller into you PC to practice before you go mad an break the real thing ;)
But the you get mummy in a big 4x4 thing, can't see, can't park, push chairs, trollys, kids jumping about not even being slightly careful about opening doors. Just as bad. :dead: :rasp:
They are __really__ difficult to fly. My Dad has one. Big petrol powered job, he's hardly used it due it being so difficult to fly. I've see it going once and it was like being near a flying lawn mower - really scary.
I'd love to be able to fly one well - think it takes a lot of practice.
Oh I see. that sounds pretty bad if you want to get it out :dead: I was wondering how it would seize up when they have no moving parts! :o
Rest of it aint too great either :dapprove:
