I'm afraid so sir!
The cup model (like my trophy) does not have a spare wheel, it comes with 2 cans of foam! At least on yours there is the space ready to carry one if you like.
On mine theres not even a space in the boot!
hope this helps

sounds like the usual ' young knob in a car story' - not you mate - the other guy.
Did a very similar thing myself 10 years ago - I was the knob driving far too fast in a 365 bhp rear wheel drive car. Thing is i crashed and caused a 5 car pile up. I leart my lesson that night i tell you.
I...
the last 172 i had was on 30 and the ally plate had worn and also the pedal itself underneath was wearing too!
you can get them from renault but they are about 40 each!
assuming the exhaust wasn't blowing when you got it then theres no reason why the MOT inspectors would have picked up on it.
if the cars 3 years old with 20% on the rear then its fair to assume approx 8 months or so before you have to change them.
Not trying to be funny but i dosent appear...
hi guys
thanks for your msg's - Its the last thing i want to do really. I love that car like crazy! Ive pampered it from new and would break my heart.
Thing is i have a real high pressure job and after this weekend i am handing my notice without a firm offer so was thinking of ways to have a...
but take a look at the work renault have done to my car, maybe 12-14 faults since ive had it, it needs to go back in again as ive noticed things have been damaged since they changed the alternator, the catches that keep the grill on have been damaged, the bonnet alarm sensor is loose too. They...
I have owned my 182 trophy for 3 months now, and due to a change in personal circumstances i am considering chopping it in and taking a normal cupped 182 or 182 cup and hopefully getting some cash.
Am I mad?
If anyone is interested or has an opinion then let me know
can someone explain how to remove the wheel on my 182 trophy, with pics if poss
my steering wheel when drivin straight is ever so slightly off centre, I know i should either take it back and have it re-tracked but it is perfectly tracked and i dont want renault f*ckers messing about with it. I...
yeah, maybe its life and all that, but i would be fucked off too - you look after your car and then something dents it. And lets face it fireworks are s**t as well. noisey bast*rds
i had a polo gti from new once - poor performance by the 172 satndards - had 3 of those too!!
the polo gti is slower than the 16v model. Plus they rattle too and handle not too good either.
forget it - nightmare
plus black is the softest paint in the book - chips and scratches easir and shows them up more too!!
they look great thats true, but mate beleive me you will regret it - especially if like me you like keeping them clean and minty
I own a trophy too and have had 3 172's before - but no cup
for the sake of all the money you would need then don't bother and fit coilovers
BUT the thing about the trophy apart from the suspension is the exclusivity - 500 made and soon a few will be written off etc so in years to come it...
