Anyone fitted Cup springs to their 172 ph1? Would like to know if it lowered the car at all and if they made it feel better. Pics would be good too :D

My PH1 Sport needs some TLC. I have been quoted from my 2 local Reno dealers... Rear discs - £120 Rear Pads - £52 Rear Shocks (pair) - £117 Anywhere else I could try online or is this the best I'm gonna get? Looked at Ktec and they dont seem any better.

The K&N typhoon that I had fitted to my old Clio did the same thing but sat the filter further down near the wheel arch. Sounded awsome! :D

Car looks nice although I prefer ph1 lights on a ph1. For the future I'd go for a stealth exhaust clear side repeaters and maybe a cup spoiler. :)

No lighting for the front ... people will think youre taking a pic of a 200! :D On a serious note nice car, love red on a 197!

I was thinking it might have something to do with abs self test, it sounds nothing like doors locking.

hmmmm hard to explain, best way to describe it... it sounds like a short moan groan, probably a pipe under pressure but I'm no mechanic so the best way to describe it is think of a boat/submarine in a movie sinking and they always make those moan/groan noises before leaking/sinking lol makes...

Had a quick search but couldn't find anything so hopefully someone will be able to help me out. I have a 172 ph1 which has an annoying moan/groan which lasts a split second. It only ever happens when the car is started and i set off or I have travelled a few meters down the road. I'm not sure...

Dont like the red diamonds everything else is good. Makes me think someone should make a r27r, red wheels + side stickers, carbon bonnet red roll cage and some buckets :D

If its your only car I agree with your girlfriend, you need to be getting something with more doors. If you have 2 cars then grow a pair.

Putting up a picture of his car and having a laugh is 1 thing but putting up pics of the lad and slagging him off behind his back just makes you look daft.

Sweet car! Love everything apart from the fogs. Cant see the problem with removing the wheel well as its a part of the car no one really sees or 99.99999% of the time will actually use. Maybe it will cause problems come sale time but 172s arent worth much anyway. Hats off for having the balls to...

Sweet motor! Im tempted to lower my Ph1, think they look a touch too high standard.

Renault say every 5 years or 72000miles, which ever comes first.
