best test is to find a completly equally round roundabout which isnt to big. get a reasonable amount of speed up and then floor it. if the roundabouts completly round you will be able to keep going around under full throttle and you will really feel the esp cutting in. the one we used for my rte...
the esp only works one wheel at a time and adjusts engine torque. below is two examples of understeer and oversteer both going around a right hand bend.
understeer-if it understeers when turning right it reduces engine torque and applies the rear right hand brake to try to pull the car into...
tc and esp are separate systems and dont work at the same time due to how they are operated. they still are both contained in the abs comp/valve block.
if a wheel spins the tc applies the brake to the spinning wheel to stop it spinning and so power is also transferred via the diff to the wheel which has grip. the tc system uses the conventional abs block but uses some additional solenoids/valves to direct fluid from the pump and to the wheel it...
price bargaining with suppliers i reckon. they move around suppliers to get better prices so you get a variation in parts. on the whole though they do use the same parts for lots of models.
esp wont work if you press the brakes. the esp needs to operate individual brakes to counter act oversteer or understeer,it cant do this if your pressing the brake. slamming on the brakes halfway through a corner is a bad idea full stop.

does it idle ok?
any running problems once your moving?
any warning lights on?
weird that it cuts out as your setting off, seems more than just a software issue that. maybe a throttle body or map sensor fault.
the magnex would be a straight fit although i dont know definatly when i would be selling it.
the ascar one is for a phase 2. the only difference between phase 1 and 2 is the length of the cat/front pipe. the phase 1 is slightly shorter so hence the centre section is a bit longer. that is the...
