    tc and esp are separate systems and dont work at the same time due to how they are operated. they still are both contained in the abs comp/valve block.

    price bargaining with suppliers i reckon. they move around suppliers to get better prices so you get a variation in parts. on the whole though they do use the same parts for lots of models.

    esp wont work if you press the brakes. the esp needs to operate individual brakes to counter act oversteer or understeer,it cant do this if your pressing the brake. slamming on the brakes halfway through a corner is a bad idea full stop.

    My Clio Wants To Cut Out......

    so it only tries to stall when setting off not when pulling up? does it idle ok? any running problems once your moving? any warning lights on? weird that it cuts out as your setting off,seems more than just a software issue that. maybe a throttle body or map sensor fault.
