Mine's a 2002 and clunks every now and then when selecting 1st, I notice it even more after a track day thrashing! It doesn't really bother me though, just character of the car I suppose!

Is this right? I thought they only checked the Aux belt at 36k, and spark plugs where changed about 72k? Could be wrong though.

Weird that you mension this Oms, I used to get about 35 - 36 mpg driving backwards and forwards to work, since I had the car serviced (36k) the mileage has dropped to around 33 - 34 althought sometimes as low as 30 driving the same journeys, same speed, etc... only a slight drop, but weird that...

Can you bend the top of the door back? I had the same thing happen to my drivers door, little f*ckers prised the top of the door away from the car. I managed to bend it back ok. Gutted for you though mate.

If the disks were warped youd get a feeling coming up from the brake pedal, a sort of vibrating which would be more intense at speed.... It doesnt sound to me as if your disks are warped...
