Been at it a bit more the last week...
Last friday i go the engine in
Turbo on :)
Slight issue, bigger turbo and few things had altered :(
So Jsperformance to the rescue again, been toying with pink boost hoses for a while :P
Just got downpipe to fit, inlet to fit properly, restof...
My opinion is you would get 100bhp from a gt2871 setup on stock internals, Chip ran near 300 on stock with an altered compression ratio and that was still a tad high, I think with a 9:5 CR you could do it and map it safely to 260-270 bhp
PS if the rods bend don't blame me :)
Few updates, still no engine though :(
Tyres off the wheels
Picked up my resprayed wings earlier so I fitted them and finally fitted the bullets sprayshack made in a group buy :)
Was also having issues with the liquid metal bungs I made for the EPAS conversion, I couldn't get hold of any...
Been busy today...
Cleaned up the alternator / brackets
Painted boost pipe :)
Fitted it
Took the wheels off
Refurbing them as they have been done 3 years ago and starting to look tatty, got some R888 for the fronts :)
More updates next week as im working the weekend :(
Done a few more bits on cup,
Prepped/smooth even more on the bay ;)
Then Tuesday night my mate came over to paint the bay at 8:30pm
Then finished at near on midnight...
Not bad for a direct gloss paint in an old open front shed, few niggles but will polish out :) very happy and better...
Looks awesome mate!! love the FPR mounting point!! looks really well thought out!! Scoffs a bloody legend, im sure he must of got pissed off with me weeks ago with various questions but he's just kept the answers coming, you going to FCS? please say yes I wana see this!! :)
Not updated in a while, managed to get a few bits done but ive been working loads, started a new shift pattern at work and hopefully I will get more time now, mainly waiting on parts now too get the engine done...Its turning out to be quite a high spec engine,All seals, bearings, belts will be...
Scoff is the man!! IMO the best mapper in the UK for the F4R, his all round service is bob on and such a genuinely nice guy, I wouldn't use anyone else now
No stock will be fine at low pressure, you may want to put a PH1 fuel setup on with a return line but isn't needed just better,
Looks on ebay for 'Nimbus' shield
