Got some Yokohama A048's in the for sale section and will have some white 172 wheels as well in the next couple of weeks. You're only just down the A1 from me. Project looks good! Hoping to get mine over to Snetterton a few times this year.

I'm very interested in hunting down my first car. A 1.2 16v Clio Dynamique in black. I sold it to a friend who had a 172 kit fitted and black Rota Grids. Would love to know if it's still about and maybe for sale. Anyone got any info on it at all? Cheers

I use APC (all purpose cleaner) mixed 10:1 with water (water/apc). Works a treat. Although Quick Detailer should do the trick with a bit of elbow grease. Autoglym Bumper Care is great for dressing them.

I got two sets up for grabs but i'm just north of London. Keep an eye out on ebay they're always cropping up.

EBC pads are w**k and too be honest there it is not worth going for vented/grooved discs. I found standard discs and Mintex Extreme pads to be the best combo. Stay away from EBC green stuff pds they're w**k. If you are on a budget go for ferodo premiers.

You can get a pretty strudy pair of axle stands for £10. Always stick the wheels you have just taken off under the car as a back up. I'm just glad you are reading that you did this rather than you just got back from the hospital with two broken legs. If only they sold common sense in a pill.
