They will not fix it, its a waste of time taking to a dealer that is just going to thrash your car and give it back to you with the fault unresolved (and perhaps more problems). Best thing to do is to enjoy the car and put it out of your head.

Yeah I think its a good idea. The cup is the best car in the world problably. Wouldnt mind some kind of how to guides on changing front/rear brake pads that arent in french. Plus recommendations on tools to buy for changing pads/ecu.

This is starting to get out of control. When you ring up a renault dealer they play dumb and tell you to bring it in (no doubt its a good money maker).

Yeah they are charging £20 to put the rears on the front/ and fronts on the rear. Dont have a spare in the cup so not sure i can do it myself. Thought about doing this because going to buy 4 new goodyears when the contis go, and thus get more life out of the contis beforehand.

Well the new ecu has improved my car so I dont really want to take it off. All i want to know is what tools I need to keep in the car, so that if it does break down i can swap over quickly. Also where exactly is the ecu and is it hard to swap them around.

So assuming the rsport ecu invalidates the engine warranty when would be the appropiate time to change back the the normal ecu. Is it the case that anytime the car goes in for work the ecu is checked? Also can someone direct me to the post that describes how to change the ecu over and what...

Check the clearance between the subframe and engine. Floor it in first year so the wheels lose traction.

If everyone called customer service and said the same thing (that the engine is banging against the subframe under hard acceleration and the dealers wont fix it) thats got to achieve something.
