You get 80% of the fun of an evo/scoob/any car under 30k in a clio rs and they cost nothing to run in comparison. Why did evo vote it second in their car of the year because its an excellent car thats why, no fiesta will ever get this accolade.
I think an rs fiesta will be the present rs...
Might be stupid but get some ELF top up oil, something i forgot when i had my first 172. Ended up putting castrol semi synthetic in it to top up, but would have preferred the exact same oil that was in the car from the factory.
I guess there must be alot of demand for 182 cups now. Just received an email from broadspeed saying the price of the 182 cup has been changed and so they have cancelled my order. On the website it has now gone up from £10900 to £11600.
Isnt then the steering geometry revised on the cup, i read somewhere the cup has improved feedback and steering feel over the 182. There must be more significant changes for evo nearly rate it their car of the year and autocar deem it a legend.
No recaro because its a car already in stock, get the car in a few days. Broadspeed have to wait a few weeks.
Definately want the recaro s fitted aftermarket.
I dont think london west will move on price, there is probably someone out there that will pay full list.
"The great service part", they gave that line to me when i rang up and asked them to match a £12200 price for a 182 cup. Soon as you bought the car they dont want to know you, i had to...
My cup made the same noise. Things like this just arent worth taking your pride and joy to a dealer for, giving them the chance to treat your car badly.
Or new clutch in 2000 miles on an evo, not covered by warranty even if faulty.
Its such a hard decision. At the twenty grand mark the only 2 new cars id be choosing between would be the s2000 european parallel new at £22500 or a prereg v6 for £21495 from buymycar.com. Second hand would be an...
Yeah but some of the prices on autotrader are just unreal, some of these traders must be living in la la land.
Jesus £21499 for a new clio v6 is an absolute bargain.
The last car auction i won on ebay i did a HPI check on and it had outstanding finance on and the seller said it was clear of finance. The seller then had the finance paid off and offered it back to me, i rejected the offer and he reported me to ebay.
Still a car broker will give you a brand new UK dealer car for £23,000. £17500 for a year old 10k miler from a suspect source is probably whats its worth.
Nah it wasnt on the hpi because it was repaired by one of the owners, didnt go through insurance. The clutch and gearboxed were in a bad state also, alot of crunching noises etc.
Go for v6 mate their looks are on a par with a ferrari, surely its worth it for just that. I had a choice of v6 and bmw, i went for the bimmer for alot more money and now wish i choose the v6.
Just hope its not the car i had inspected. It was advertised as mint for £4500 and turned out it was involved in a heavy frontol collision, it wasnt even properly repaired just dressed to look right on the outside.
I think its only registered as cat d if its not recovered then you make a claim and then its recovered and registered cat d by the insurance company- i could be wrong but seems obvious.
Its not worth it to me saving a few grand and getting a 20000 mile example, would rather have a low mileage one. If the dealer wont give me their cup for £9000 im going to cough up extra and get a 182 with cup options.
The decision is horrible though if you have the money CTR or 182, would give me nightmares. Its like the R1, cbr600rr, zxr636, gsx600r, all good bikes but just wouldnt know which one id choose.
