If the 182 is not the best of all the cars mentioned in this thread, then why did evo vote it 3rd in their car of the year above the very best £30,000 vx220. The 182 is special but its a different ownership proposition. Any car that you drive all year round is not going to feel as special as a...
In any test the 111r comes out top over the vxt and the vxr is just useless on the road. What your prefer is your preference, the better car is always going to be the lotus. Drive a vx on a bumpy road and your get a clearer picture.
Around the topgear track the s2 elise took about 1.36, this...
My mate just struck a deal with the dealer i rejected a 182 cup from and im telling him hes out of his head but he just wont listen to me. The deal he got was a 182 cup for april delivery with recaros for £11800 on finance at 12.7% with a £500 deposit, is this a good deal? The total cost of...
Cant bloody sleep, even reading car forum posts wont send me off.
The pistonheads people sum the vxs problems up quite nicely, quote-
"I also found the suspension/steering jittery. Im used to very direct steering in short wheel base, mid-engined cars and none of them have ever been like...
I think some of the posts in the following link sum it up, the vx is a seriously overrated car. A 182 will give you just as much if not more fun and its a great deal cheaper...
I dont think he is convinced yet, he hasnt said. If its me your chatting about i dont need convincing, test drove the 111r and its leagues ahead of the vx and as regards the vxr see all the bad press e.g. Martin Brundles review in car magazine he hated it with a passion. Also note (flamesuit...
Im not sure its such a bad decision unless it was a turbo. I always thought a vx as an excellent second car and not a very good only car. Clio will be quicker round any track than a vx / na, clio will be quicker in everyday driving, clio is more practical, clio doesnt leak, no bang bang bang...
Well my dealer told me that they are available however they cant spec them to my car because i rejected my last car and the newly ordered car has to be the same so as to not cast doubt on my reasons for rejection. Which is absolute b****cks as i rejected the car because there was no clear coat...
Probably do it good. Even the m3 engines notorious for going bang, people recommend hitting the limiter when the engines warm a few times in the running period.
The reserve hasnt even been met. I think the lads at LAD have actually have devalued a great car, if he took the reference to LAD away he could sell it for more.
If your not going to mod the vxt Id go for a v6. The vxt is not as good a track car as you think without upgraded suspension. If your going to mod the vxt it will be a supercar killer; courtney etc can mod it to over 250bhp for a small price and get nitrons fitted it will trounce many...
They are getting me a brand new 05 182 cup and giving me the courtesy car until the new cup arrives, which should be about 6-8 weeks - 05 reg time. Trying to get the factory fitted recaros but not sure their doing it yet. Dont have to give the courtesy car back, have it for as long as it takes...
Well managed to reject the car. Their ordering me a brand new one from the factory and have given me a courtesy car whilst i wait for it. Just got to wait ages for it after getting all excited.
My issue regarding mileage, i signed the order form stating there were 0 miles on it before PDI...
I dont know ive rang 7 different renault garages and they all say (including a garage part of the dealer supplying me) that 5-10 miles is acceptable pdi mileage anything more is a joke.
The mileage wouldnt be an issue if they could have shown me one car there ready to go out with similar...
Things like this are well depressing, after getting excited thinking about collecting the car etc. I think the bonnet was buffed so hard, the bonnet is actually half an inch lower than side wings.
Yeah but how do you know its been driven within the running procedure over 46 miles, you have to assume it hasnt if you dont know surely. The guy there was trying to deceive me saying those 46 miles were driven around the garage back and fourth, nowhere else.
As far as the bonnet goes it need...
Transferred the money by CHAPS telegraphic transfer. Its so bloody annoying you buy a brand new car you expect it to be brand new, i hate being let down and messed about. Got the insurance soughted, went all the way to the garage in the rain on the tube and came all the way back carless on the...
Havent driven it or accepted it. However have transferred the funds so they have my money. The dealer said that under 90 miles is acceptable delivery mileage. I asked them to check all the other new cars there as they were thinking it was acceptable, they checked one random 182 and it had 7...
Quickly need someone to tell me if this is acceptable. Brand new cup 182 supplied by renault dealer in london with 46 delivery miles and swirl marks on the bonnet such that the lacquer has been worn away, such that the paint on the bonnet is almost abrasive to touch. Also one part of one of...
Dont lose hope anyway, atleast their sourcing you the right car immediately. It might be worth travelling to a more competant garage further away to have aftersales and servicing done.
Lol. But then the difference in performance could be even greater if the cup was running light on fuel with a skinny runt and the 182 had a full tank with a fatboy. Also the cupped 182 might have a full load of shopping this could slow it significantly.
Plus having the climate control will...
Lol. Try ring mitsi up saying your clutch has gone on your 2000 mile new evo 8, their put your through to this real tough bird with absolutely no logical sense, her answer to everything is no - no sir its not covered on warranty, no sir the law dont apply to us, no sir tyre wear etc will not be...
