I would definatly buy another import as it really makes sense. With the money saved on the 72 I got myself another toy.... a CBR 600 ! So got the best of both worlds....
Depends really, Incedently I just bought an R plate Corsa ( I know ! ) without service history, but it was 1k below book price ! You take your chances really.
a 172 is a 172, there all the same, dunno why people have this thing about import cars. Personally I would rather (and did) save 3k. When I sold the 172 I got perhaps £2-300 less than a uk car ! Nice saving I think. :D
yep,I had this once. It happened on a cold morning, started the car the heater and light burst into life and then the computer chrashed ! there after I got silly lights for a couple of weeks.
Loads of Cups around the Guildford area, in fact saw three in 5 mins yesterday ! Dont see as many of those 172 things thou. They must be well sought after being that rare !
I took it "easy" untill 650 -1k an have had no problems with anything mechanical, no 4k rattle, no gearbox probs, no engine mount failures, its up to you, i just sold the clio which never went back to the dealer for a thing with 9k on...... You take your chances.....
