depends really on the price. A new 172 can be had for arount 12k, if the price for yours is arount 9.5-10k I would be unsure buying with scratches and dents.... get them done to achieve the best price and a quick sale.
If you live in the Guildford area you will understand how Image counts and...
interesting choice, which do you drive the most ?
I have a 406 v6 coupe and a 172 they are totally different cars and bith rewarding in very different ways so it hard to choose.
yep , I went for the gap insurance, its seems worth it as they will make sure you have ebnough to cover the finance or loan, I took the view that its only 300 vs the brand new cost of the car and the loss should some tw*t smash into it ( lets not mention the lack of abs) ;)
CC all the way baby !!!
TBH I wouldnt bother getting a car without now, resale value will plummit due to everyboys expectations these days ! good luck
Oh , and look 172 posts !!!!!!!!!!! what a great number !
is it possible that after 10-11k purchase price people are missing the toys that they have been used to in a far cheaper car ? perhaps its the time of year when everyone either wants aircon of a rag top ?
aircon, leather, abs, xenons, or great blue colour with none of the above ? I like the grat leather smell when I get in the car and the aircon for both those hot days an frosty morning, for me the 172 is more practical. Cup looks great though.....
Im sorry to break it too you, but most cars go wrong now and again.... my last Golf gti had new gear box, alternator, breaks all round an exhaust in just under two year and 17k of driving ! The car was a 2 owner example in very good condition !!!!! It a mine field out there....
