the 1.7 puma was one of the best cars produced by ford imo.lovely handling and terrific balance,with an engine that just loved to be revved.too many are driven by women though,who bought them for their looks,and sadly,will probably never get the best out of them.

172 cup,weedon road roundabout,about 9am,driven by a girly.then this morning,albi blue 197 on the a428 heading towards northampton,followed 10 mins later by a black 172/182 near janlins ford place.

just come back from a week in italy,and didnt see one renaultsport!!!!!
then,on the way back to home from gatwick on the M23/m25 we saw 4 197s heading anti clock wise.
M23-racing blue about 2.30pm
M25-ultra red just past heathrow
M25-ultra red approaching heathrow

your never too old to enjoy driving a decent motor.im 49 and am fortunate to drive renaultsport cars all the time.(i work for a renault dealer)i have a 21 year old son whos just taken delivery of a 197 after 2 172 cups.
forget the age thing,just enjoy the car,and get to a few meets to meet some...
just echoing what everyone else has said,marc.feel really sorry that this has happened to you and your family.i have been an avid watcher of the various vids that you have posted here and there.
in some small way,it must feel that a family member has gone missing....
