me to.
especially the cat to manifold srung loaded fitting.
so i enlisted the help of my girlfriend who was the perfect size to get her hands in and fit it for me.
f**king genius!
i have noticed that when i turn right, the noise almost goes away.
but straight and left the noise returns and stays at the same volume errelivant of speed and load on the car.
edit. i also changed the rear wheel to the spare. no better!
Im the same as u mate.
just changed a rear bearing.
the new ones just as bad, im wondering if somethings rubbing o the brakes are binding or something as i've just had new rear bads on too!
u guys not seen f1 this year then.
the cars do look crap, the front wings are massive. the noses are all over the place.
good video. sounds like the guy from 300 at the start, lol!
i had this once.
check your top engine mount.
i susspected mine was moving. all i had was a lucazade bottle, so i put the top down the back of the mount and the noise went away untill i braked and i saw the top bouncing down the road behind me.
get wd40. with the straw on it.
spray it at random bearing areas.
if the noise goes down for abit u know u got the spot, so be very specific about where u spray!
u sure its not a diesel! sounds abit like it ;)
if its like the jc5.
theres an oil seal at the end with the splines coming out.
behind there is a large nut which will need removing.
i think theres a circlip on the other side too.
but like i say might be different for your box, i have only had one out once.
the rest have sheered off.
i took the breather off, and got some molies on the remaining threads, some came out, some seemed to snap off instantly.
if i take the rocker cover off can i get to the bottom of these bolts to drill them out?
cheers.
a mate of mine had an arguement with adrian flux about the mondeo v6 brakes he fitted on his zetec-s.
they wanted to know what bhp gain the brakes would give.
so he began to argue that his insurance should come down as the car was now technically safer due to its better braking ability...
eninge management light.
when the other light u mentioned comes on it means theres ignition fault, usually caused by throttle pedals/ bodies or ignition coils.
theres also alot of other faults that cause this problem, but they are the usuals.
if i were you id go to an independant renault...
on the subject, how do you do it fred?
if i remove the bolt at the top of the spring will it release tension in a dangerous way?
can u give me a quick idea.
i have the kit all ready to go!
