Following on from Roy's post I found this little gem, a Catherham R500 jousting round the ring with a GT2, Caterham driver has some epic car control going on, looks too much fun tbh.
There's even a Clio in it ;)

Yeah will be nice to have the smoother idle and cold start issues resloved but will I see any decent performance gain on a std motor ?, I know the BHP gains are negligable
Are the generic RST maps, designed round a specific set of modifications atall (Filter/exhaust etc) ?
I've searched briefly and can't really find a definative answer so:
Is it ok to use an RS Tuner on a completely standard 172 ?
Are there even going to be any real benefits of this ?
Ta
Same as the A8 W12 presumably ?
A mate of mine had the A8 W12 for a week, so naturally we took advantage and had some fun :) Epic is 1 word to describe them, the power delivery is relentless and completely absured lol, it never stops coming !
Neither.
Both will turn it from a lovely car into a molested chav wagon, give next to zero performance gains and make it sound like an old knacker.
If you must have a 'performance' exhaust, go for 1 of the stealth options like the K-Tec Stealth or Yozzasport stealth.
I had this, check the Brake pedal switch on the brake pedal and adjust as necessary, there is a thread on here somewhere if you get stuck. Also your brake fluid, mine was a little low, seemed to sort it.
Other than that it may be the ABS rings as you say.
L82DOJ white 16v. Had it for a year or so before selling it on to a member of the forum here in about 2003, was a great bit of kit when I had it, was properly used but looked after, seen a few pics of it since looking rather fettled, hope shes still going !
Re: No Compromise ph1 ITB build (Fastcar, BTM, TDF, RS Fab) - ITB update p77
Awesome car, saw it tucked up at Fred's when I was over for a belt change, looks so much more impressive in the flesh.
Good work.
I personally prefer the PH2, looks more upto date and has a nicer interior imo, either way tho theres not alot of real life difference.
As said, check for recent belts in the history, amongst the usual things.
