Are they just coming up as track1, track2 etc? Does the song name show up on your pc? Try adding them to itunes first, see if they show up there, then add to ipod?

My samsung lcd tv wont show a picture via vga connection, from my laptop, it says not supported. The only way i could connect is via s-video. Not hd though.
