I've tried and tried to fall in love with the Civic, but I can't. It just doesn't feel special, and it's not enough fun. I thought that after 4 Clios surely I'd be bored by now, but after numerous new car threads the only conclusion I can come to is to get another Clio.
My only main concern is...
My mate burned some video-camera clips onto a DVD and when I go to view them it says...
"Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file."
What do I do!?
"My 197 is doing really well on petrol Ste, I'm getting an average 34MPG even though I've been driving faster than usual if anything!"
Silly bugger has it set on average MPH. Lol.
I want a video camera for action sports and the occasional trackday, but not necessarily a teeny-tiny one that attaches anywhere. Preferably one with a proper viewfinder and LCD screen so that I can use it as a camcorder too.
I've done some research and it seems that the Flip UltraHD is pretty...
I need a cheap TV, I've been looking on eBay and there's some very cheap ones from brands I've never heard of. The TV doesn't need to offer much more than a half decent picture as it's replacing a rather antique 27" contraption, anything 32" or more is fine.
Regulars will know I've had a few Clio Sports with the most recent being a tidy coilovered and caged 197, then I downgraded to an Ignis Sport which again got the stripped and coilovered treatment. Sadly the Ignis became more and more impractical the more I modded it, then when I had to start...
I'm just knocking some low-quality videos together from Fridays Bedford session, it was my first chance to try the Ignis on track. I was really impressed with it actually, especially as it's only running 109bhp.
There are a couple more videos to come, and Warren may add his too if he pulls his...
Kinda dark and kinda hard to see, but I saw some dudes in a dark coloured 182 last night. Pretty sure I could see a Cliosport sticker on the back. I was in the Suzuki, I looked across at you, I think you did the same! :)
I have an iPod, an iPhone and iTunes...
- I've used my iPhone to download songs from the iTunes store.
- I've connected my iPhone to my laptop and uploaded all these songs to iTunes on my laptop.
- I want to add these songs to all my other music on my iTunes, so that I can sync them to my...
This isn't a Clio specific question, but I thought the best answer would come from this forum...
My question is this... Does the way you run your air-feed genuinely affect performance? I've made my own air-feed and it sits right above the rocker cover and I'd imagine it probably sucks in hot...
Never used to have a problem with it, but the Facebook app on my iPhone logs me out all the time and only occasionally lets me back in.
I've tried removing the app and re-installing it but that didn't work, suggestions?
Pretty random I know, but the JDM thread is full of awesome photography and was wondering what techniques they use to get images like these...
How much editing goes into pictures like these, or is it filters and expensive equipment? Just thought I'd ask knowing there's some pretty handy...
I know this isn't really 'Phones and Internet' but what the hell... lol
I've got a 38" Sony Bravia LCD TV in my bedroom that I never use. Seeing as winter is here and I'm single again I figured I'd get it working so I can watch some Christmas telly.
Trouble is, I live in a poor reception...
**You may need to change it to 480p to work!**
Maybe not one for the teens but for anyone who appreciates some classic motors this is quite a grid!
Oh, and the car we're riding in doesn't hang about either!
The race is in Australia, Mount Panorama (Bathurst) I belive.
The question couldn't be simpler really lol Are Gaz coilovers in general any good, I mean in terms of quality?
Are they well made and good quality... y'know 'like a Golf', or more Fiat-like (or Abarth if you will) ;) *jokes*
Advice apprecited, :o
