Have to agree on gearbox/clutch. Having driven my clio 172 more than any other car, using the gearbox in my ex's type-r or 3 series, and even the gearbox in my vRS, I find the gearbox to be pretty Notchy. Not unusable, if you want to make progress as other people have said, you can. But it is...
I still Stare at clio 1*2's. Even since I've been driving my oil burning czech monster truck (fabia vrs). I think it's seasonal. Cruising around last summer I used to wave and be waved at. Spending an hour on the M5 every day and nothing.
Mine is/was(when it's sold) called.....
Jean as in Jean Reno
Reno-Renault tee hee. I do love a bad pun!
My fabia vrs is called the dull and uninspiring diesel!
Scan.
Can i suggest you buy a base unit, then buy the keyboard, mouse, speakers and screen yourself.
I'd build it myself, but i accept you don't want to. You can still personalise it by buying a proper gaming mouse, keyboard and a proper screen.
There's no point having a ninja rig if...
I've got a viper. A mate and I spent ages trying to put the caf somewhere good. In the end it ended up attached to the standard air feed. Not much room in the engine bay to play with is there :-(
I've used a different approach to tthis one. I used to work in a skate shop years ago, and we sold this stuff called shoe goo. It's thick but still runny rubber solution in a tube. Fixes shoes messed up by skating. It also bonds the thumb grips on the wheel back together a treat. Doesn't...
Just a thought, but my car wouldn't start the other day. I'd sat in it taking tints off the windows for a couple of hours, when i came back to it the next day it wouldn't start. The starter motor was making a noise, and all the electrics were on radio etc, but no running engine.
A friend...
Aego m's are streets ahead of anything else. You won't regret it. Acoustic energy make hi fi speakers, logitech make peripherals, bose make overpriced tat for suckers. The end.
Had a bit of a play with somone on the m5 around junctio 13 yesterday afternoon. Hello if you're on here, blue 1*2 with your gf in the car and heavy right foot ;-)
I have 2 LG tv's and they're both great. Go on the richer sounds website and have a look. Definately buy lcd and not plasma. As others have said, there's nothing wrong with korean tv's in general. Just find the tv you want and look at it properly. It's like cars, a bit subjective. my...
On the way home a pigeon decided to swoop into my windscreen. I don't think he was too well afterwards, but I couldn't stop on the motorway to give him his guts back.
I've phoned insurance as it's cover on my policy for a £70 excess. Do I need to make sure that I get the right screen. I...
I don't really try and get trophies, just end up with some. I only use the ps3 as a pick up and play thing. Working in IT puts me off sitting in front of screens too much in my own times. The days of 2 and 3 day long PC game sessions are long gone.
Having just checked though, think i could...
When i smashed my passenger side mirror I got a replacement on ebay for about a fiver. I couldn't work out how to remove the original glass from the electics to adjust the angle, so I just stuck the new glass over the old. So far, so good. You can't tell it's a bit thicker, and the controls...
I had the f1's on the front for a while, moved them to the back and got the t1r. Have to admit i like the toyo a lot more. They also feel good on my friends scooby. They won't last forever, but they're good.
Personal opinion, i hate macs. Laptop's are a bit different but I'll always build my own pc's for half the price with better components. All my computers are rock solid stable. You just need to know what you're doing.
I will say mac books seem to hold their value a bit better when you come...
Was getting some cash out from hsbc last night and saw a trophy parked behind HSBC in montpellier in Cheltenham. I tried to take a pic but i fear I'd already drunk too much fizzy pop so it didn't really come out. :S
Since I've had my car there's been an annoying vibration from the interior light above my head. I thought it was something to do with the clifford alarm that came fitted to the car.
Well it was annoying me so much i took the whole light assembly out and had a poke around. There is a weird...
Sorry to ask another question on your thread, but as we're talking about these type of things anyway. I Have an origin b2 which came with the car. The recepit says it cost the previous owner nearly 400 quid fitted, and there's a cradle fitted onto the dash. I've never used it, and i presume...
Yup
Mines a flamer. Fairly standard apart from exhaust, induction kit and tints. Oh and half a grass verge in teh engine bay lol.
I'm using it as an excuse to buy a new carbon splitter. Better get new tires too, clearly need more grip. then i better spray the wheels and diamond to match...
Well I'll be at the rolling road at powerstation on saturday so I'll have opportunity to ask some other members about a track day then. Sounds fun to me.
