Yeah if someone wants to tell me how to upload them i will.
What wheels you got christophe? They look nice from the pic but its so small i cant make them out.
Umm....Do you have to make a fixing or buy one if you were to put them on the A pillar or do they just sit there?
I wonder if you could remove the old tweeter from the top of the dash and just use the original wires to run new tweeters on the A Pillar?
http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/3978.html
What about if you had the tweeters build in the speakers like these rainbows? Would this sound better and would they fit?
I want to stick some midranges in the doors but will this still sound good without changing the tweeters?
Im just not the type of person who will be wanting to remove the dash as i know i wont have a clue what i am doing and i know it will go wrong so is it really necessary to change them or...
Yeah i was thinking 35mm.
One of the rims has cracked and they said its too dangerous to weld it even though its only a small crack so i have to either get a new rim for £125 plus a new tyre coming to over £200 or get a new set for £600, i went for the new set lol...
Can anyone tell me how much i would be able to lower my 172 if i put 17's on. Also would i still be able to get people in the back?
Currently i have 18's, its not lowered and can get two in the back but i want to go smaller.
Cheers
(Oh and i know about the handling so no mentioning of...
On ebay they have a lot of pioneer gear half the price coming from the USA.
I remember seeing something about the head unit being different to UK models and therefore not a straight forward swap to the normal one.
Is this correct?
Yeah sorry didnt read it properly, i realise now.
They sound cool, someone tell me how to change it quick. Does the whole light have to be taken off the car?
Do these flash yellow still or white? might have to get some, do the side lights pull off easily?
I take it that its for the side light and not the front side light?
The fan motor might of gone, happened to mine, not too expensive to replace, £100ish from what i can remember.
Had the same symptons, lights all on, nothing blowing out.
18's will go on if its not lowered.
Wont rub on the front, does on the back if you go over a big bump sometimes. Two people in the back max, small people lol.
Would post pic but dont know how to sorry. Still they are too big, im downgrading to 17's soon.
I want to see what these look like on clios before i buy them so anyone who has got them, preferably the black and silver ones then post a pic or PM me.
Cheers.
My 172 has only done 28k but already the leather on the top of the steering wheel is starting to crack and go hard.
Any advise what i can do apart from hold the steering wheel in a different place lol. Is there any treatment i can use and what is best to keep the leather supple?
My 172 clicks also, there is a little round plastic piece stuck to the floor which the pedal touches if you push it right down hard after it clicks. Check the plasic isnt worn or has a lip on it as the pedal might be sticking behind the lip if that makes sense when your pushing it right to the...
Thinking about getting one of these as they seem quite cheap and should make handling a bit better.
Are they that easy to fit and what tools would i require?
If anyone has a better suggestion to an OMP would be much appriciated.
Ever since I bought my 172 53plate a year ago it has always had this same problem if you can call it that.
Every time its cold and just started up its really lumpy to drive for the first 2mins, not very nice at all, all jerky and not a nice ride. After a few mins and its warmed up its fine...
Yep as soon as you turn the ignition on the start humming, you go to the back of the car open the boot and you can see them/feel them rumbling so definatly the subs.
The set of leads i bought were not cheap, i have cheap ones in my last 3 cars and thought i would spend an extra £20 this time...
Or do what i did last weekend and drill a hole in the body work just underneeth the water bottle and it comes out behind the glove box.
I did this from the inside and worked a treat, didnt have to unscrew anything or any bottles.
