Depends on the roads you'll be using mostly.
The wife finds the Non-cup non-recaro ride on my 200 a tad harsh so I'm guessing she'd hate the cup chassis.
Save your £400 for some fuel
You say that - but what about leaving the car parked etc - there's all sorts of aspects of owning "special" cars that come into play.
If I had enough money for a weekend toy I'm still not convinced a Vee would get my cash (but it would be in with a chance :)).
As for fitting 10 carriers in...
I've only ever seen one other 200 in Aberdeen (That was an Alien Green cup).
White for me...
Work up at Altens and don't venture into the city too much - just back roads between Altens and Banchory .
Yes but just because you like a car doesn't mean you'd want one.
Most folk couldn't live with a Vee day to day - just too impractical !
I had a TVR 390 for a weekend back in the day - was a great weekend - but would I want a TVR for day to day driving - nae chance !
There is on the 200 - suppose it would be on the 197 too.
Although not if you spec recaros :S

you'd $hite yourself in a montego turbo (I almost did) - The original hedge seeking missile ;):D
The 205 was like a Nissan Sunny compared to the "best" of british
Driving the 200 doesn't leave me feeling "detached" - Granted I'm no Aryton Senna but it certainly feels like I've been in the car when I've had a spirited run in it :).
As for soul - that only ever comes with age - the 200 will have plenty of soul in the coming years when we all look back...
Every car forum on the planet has this sort of drivel on it.
You should approach them more with approach of entertainment rather than getting a definitive answer as to if a hair dryer is faster than a Hover mower
Having said that - this one's pretty poor - everyone knows the 172 is...
Hmmm- the A93 is OK but I find it a little "safe" when it's empty - but it's biggest problem is it's just too busy and full of johhny foreigner deciding which side of the road to drive on today  or bellend bikers trying to kill themselves.
Take the piss on the Cairn and you are in big...
The front of the 250 doesn't seem to match the back of it.
Front looks big - Back looks tiny.
But as I've said before - If you want a good looking car don't buy a Renault :D
