their like tweeters, but can handle a much higher frequency coverage, and can produce better imaging and staging in a car. Proper high end audio that bit of kit is mmmmmmmmm
I have more or less just finished sound deadening my mk1 phase three 1.2rl clio. Ive done everywhere from the rear quarters all the way through to the roof, and two layers in most areas, three in some.
But the one place I couldnt get to was underneath the carpet on the floor. I have bucket...
for starters the display housing are tiny, and you would have to bodge the hell out of it to make it hold a descent size screen. You can get small tfts if thats what you mean, but i would be more inclined to make a fibreglass pod to fit in that gap and blend it in as oem as possible,
dont bother dying it, ud have to wash it into it, would be a bath effort, and ud end up staining the bath that way too. Best bet is to attempt to make ur own and use carpet spray to hold it to shape
pmsl shows how much people think before they type. How could u call that w**k and cheap. What a fool, ed do much much superior ice than you local ice shop could possibly dream to supply you with. Those subs are not cheap mind you, and are imported. They are very efficient and can work in very...
yea most alpines have the feature, i would def look to upgrade, keep an eye in classifieds, look at http://www.talkaudio.co.ukwww.talkaudio.co.uk and go through to the forums then car audio for sale, think theres a few up for sale at the mo.
I can comment on the invertors as i work for maplins, just be sure to get a 600w one and 12volts, dont pick up the 24v one. Also they fluctuate in price every month or so, so ask in store what price they are at, and have they been cheaper, then figure out whether or not if its a good deal.
its...
good on you mate, na i wont be at the event, bloody just came out of hospital after having cartilidge removed, cant drive for two weeks :S
install looks very fancy, but those hcs seriousely love huge enclosures!!!
would easily gain a few dbs if u experimented with different ported...
it does loo klike usher, look harder. Very nice motorised screen mate, how much was that?
also tidy up the boot next and get ya amps secured properly before the leads cross and cause damage.
agree with adam, that is useless advise. Just because an subwoofer may claim to have excellent rms ratings, doesnt make it an excellent compromise for sq or spl at that matter. You also have to take into account what impedance your looking for. Bridged i would imagine your going for a single...
na just craig stephen williams, i dont mean to have a dig at evils car, was in a bad mood earlier, but its just such a waste of skills in my opinion to whack inappropriate gear in. I am from swansea tho, where bouts u from?
no offense, but that evil car!!!!
three sets of 6by9s upfront!!!! y????? that must sound awful!
if there was so much effort put into that, y not just go threeway with some detailed sounding speakers, not as many speakers as u can fit in.
and the subs, are being wasted in such a small box...
he he i so want to get a pic of mine up, but im not a member. Anyone help plz, i want to inject a bit of excitement at the mo their all a little subtle.
what size speakers we looking at?
Id say kickpods and door compilation all depending on size and what way are they?
I have three ways, 4" and tweet in kicks and a 6.5" in custom door angled pods too.
also boxes, slot ported 2.125cft after displacement, and 3.5 before, tuned to 35hz.will drop loverly and low, but still punchy enuf with a constant amount of power.also id keep the trim simple, so stick with black carpet, nice and easy to work with and doesnt distract to much of the attention...
tut tut, poor ideas so far in my opinion, im the poor b*****d thats gona be building this thing probably :P chris being honest scrap the idea of the re 18, and go for two 12" re se12"s, their so power hungry. I have one box here ready, can make u another, go with the v design like in my 480, and...
personally i would have mounted the amp the other way side ways down the slope so you can read the graphicxs on the amp, and keep it symetrical with another future amp on the other side. Bit too angular for mee, not smooth enough.
why not just make a custom enclosure for the sub and mount the...
link isnt working for me, is it a maystar, they do alright kid, looked into mac audio, av a peek in ya maplins selling through th line now, could get a 4 channel and bridge both to run dual 4 ohm voice coils at 340wrms at only £79.99, or two 4 ohm subs at 170 wrms each. Or a sub at 170wrms and...
if you want a budget setup, just pop into maplins, dont bother with the kits, althought they are only £24.99 and £9.99 for the lower end one.
But 5 metres of 4 gauge power wire at £2.99 a metre
and one or two metres of earth as well, same price compared to £8 in halfords
get a run of...
