Thanks for the replies lads, I'll buy a splitter and a 10 metre cable and try it out when I get it installed then. Spoonie- I think they are up to date in Glasgow afaik. My neighbours was installed within a week I think.

I am thinking of getting in the Sky HD now that they are doing the £49 offer, but I am wondering if it is possible to fit a splitter to the rear HDMI cable and run another cable to my bedroom, because I have a 1080p telly in there going to waste. Would spitting the signal kill the quality?

Looking very nice, I test drove one in that colour (was covered in stone chips though) before I settled on the yellow. I am having a hard time getting used to the handling, very skittish in the wet. I may book it in soon to get the geometry checked out too. In the dry though, it is amazing...
