no the doors were not taken off using the bolts! this is causing me a lot of bother but hopefully I can get a garage to sort this over the weekend. If not i dont no what the solution is because it would be to far for me to travel to bring the doors back to you.

ok just to update this post in case anyone is doing a search in future. The speedo cable is now changed and the high idling has stopped. Yippee If you have this problem after reaching high speeds and then getting a high idle problem try changing the speedo cable.

They do just undo but they rust and seal tight. Smokey definitely put wd40 a day before. My rt doors were a nightmare im not looking forward to doing this.
