    didnt thrash mine from new, did about 100 miles of below 4000rpm, then up to about 400 stuck under 6000rpm, and then after that opened it up a bit. Always warm my car up properly tho, keep it topped up with oil (topped it up once so far), only use bp ultimate or optimax, and check tyre...

    Go for it mate! Just out of interest... did u run ur car in properly or bend the rules/recomendations a little bit, as i must admit im guilty of the latter... Do u use ur for commuting etc or just for fun? As the only time i use mine is to go out for a drive really, would say ive done...

    done 5100 miles now... am just thinking tho, my car was very much warmed up before this occurance and the outside temperature was around 0. My car is definitly gettin better the more miles i do!!!

    mine honestly pulls really really hard past 130 upto about 140 thats when it backs off and speed builds up rather alot slower...

    I dont think it was because, the alfa 147 gta i was racing said he was doing 158 and he wasnt to far in front! and the nissan skyline said he was doing 167 which i can believe as he was quite a way in front lol!

    i run mine at 32 30, find it handles great at those pressures! was just stating what i thought the manual stated for motorway driving in the previous post..

    Does anyone have one of K-Tecs Cat replacements for the Cup/172? If so, is it any good? Feel much difference? As it claims to give 7bhp.

    What about if you had a problem and the dealer had to adjust something on it or what eva, would the connectivity still be the same, and would it appear the same as the standard if they hooked up to it etc?
