I should think most people are having them like me on a 0% pcp. I did look at an 12 month old one through bmw as well and it was cheaper for me to have the new one..
Mental
Pop to you’re local builders merchants and get some resin fix. It’s in a single tube but 2 part.
Drill hole, clean out dust, cut some m12 bar. Pump in resin, push in bar, wait 30 mins and away you go.
It’ll be fine. Just make sure you get rid of the dust from drilling
I haven’t been in one to compare ian. I haven’t had any fast cars for a little while. Young kids and big mortgages took over for a while. It certainly shoves you back in you’re seat .
That was a concern to me. Where we are living I didn’t want a rear wheel drive car as my only one.
We’d just had a golf gtd so I wanted a change.
I’ve got a new vw transporter as a vehicle and we have a 4 motion Passat so I kind of guessed it didn’t matter.
Engine is incredible
Brand new . As mental as it sounds they were doing 0% on m140i atm so made more sense than a second hand one.
Unfortunately for me, it was already at port so I didn’t build it. Hey ho.
It’s a shadow edition so it has a few options.
Not as well Specced as the gtd but it’s pretty good.
I’ll...
To be fair it’s a third vehicle in the house so won’t be used all the time.
I’m not sure I’d want it as my only car where we live. We are in the country and the roads are pretty poor and muddy
With the 2 young kids and a dog. I have recently purchased a 2004 passat estate 4motion.
This enabled us to chop in our golf gtd which has been great just a little boring, for a bmw m140i.
A bit of a middle ground. So far so good. It won’t be used all the time. I also didn’t have the urge to...
I have the same one Ron. It's great, had it a couple of years.only thing I changed was the hose, I had a rubber one made up which is brill. 15m long and doesn't tangle up
You got this thing up on bricks at night to do those kind of miles? I'd struggle to do that in 3 years on a brand new transporter for work! Good effort
