my old ax gt from 1999, had this car smoothed and resprayed and converted to 4 stud to take the antera wheels, spax adjustables, janspeed stainless exhaust sorry the pics are crap but they are 7 yrs old!! lol

ive looked up those spax springs for the trophy, motorsport world do them for around 100 quid. 20 mm drop mmmmmmmm, very very tempting................................

matt over on cliotrophy had had custom springs made by Mark Fish, lowered the car 10mm front and back. Thats the only slight issue i have with the trophy is it could do with being a touch lower.

v6 would earn you loads more respect and woud prob be cheaper to insure if you declare all those mods!!!

its a janspeed full system with slash cut pipes. To be honest i think cos the car is sitting with the handbrake on it looks a little higher than normal, no way would i begin to start messing with the handling. Im not a suspension technician and think renault have done the job very well...

on my way home from my mum and dads house i stopped off and took some pics of the trophy. Spent a good couple of hours cleaning it.

i made the same move as you are contemplating, mk1 v6 to trophy and wouldnt go back! (maybe for a mk2 v6 in a couple of years) the trophy will tick all the boxes you want, plus you can take your mates out in the car!! oh and they handle just as well as every1 says!!
