Detailing is certainly getting a lot more popular! Seems like more people are ready to admit they are cleaning obsessives these days anyway ;)

I went from a silver car, to a dark blue car.
My next car will definitely be silver! Dark colours show every single mark/swirl/scratch! and they show dirt more easily!
I always used to wash both cars, but at the moment we only have the one! Not cleaning that Mini is laziness! It wouldnt take you very long, due to the size of it :)
Great pics brazo! Ive recently started using the 2 bucket method for washing the car - I couldnt believe how dirty the rinse bucket water was after washing the car. Never going back to the old way now :)
Perhaps the wrong section.. never mind, Im sure it will get moved.
Sold it to a policeman for £4300 in the end after I reduced the for sale price to £4450.
Put down a deposit on a new car today, with the proceeds from selling the dCi. Picking it up on Friday! Its a dark blue Peugeot 306 1.6 Meridian. A lot more luxurious than the Clio... with half leather seats, alloys, fogs, air con etc. Looking forward to picking it up!
Tun. wells locals look...

Cheers!
Boydie - I think the dCi 80 returns a higher MPG than the dCi 65, so you get the best of both worlds! Quicker car, and higher MPG! I dont thrash my car everywhere, but I dont think Ive ever had over 55mpg from it - Im happy with that anyway :)
Ive got the dCi 65, and have also driven the 1.2 16v, they seem pretty equally matched in terms of speed, but the dCi feels quicker and is much more fun to drive IMHO. The dCi is my first diesel car, and Id definitely buy another. The increased MPG really helps too, I usually get 50-55mpg on...

I reverted back to using a hose and sponge due to the hassle of getting the pressure washer out of the garage and hooking it up. Its a waste of time unless your car is absolutely caked in mud and your wheels are like black or...
