full service then hillpower for induction kit ecu and possibly a new exhaust, not sure on sports cat from ktec though, depends on funds. new clutch and brake pads are needed, maybe some discs too oh and i need new tyres. new head unit (hopefully for xmas) what an expensive winter it will...

bet they are like that with all v6s;)

use the mot thing, if car doesnt need mot in first three yrs only tyres should need changed etc, worked for me

is the hillpower induction kit a sealed unit want it with the rsport ecu. will get viper if it isnt

cheers for the advice, i found the problem, the air hose going onto the air filter was twisted, dont know how and when i opened up the filter it was covered in loads of crap. loads of leaves and stuff. their is also a hole formed in the hose where it was twisted. sorted it out best i can and...

check with the car on, took mine back after a week because the brake lights stayed on all the time, tool them two seconds to sort it, never told me what caused it tho, been fine ever since

I like it but major money has to be spent to tune it to over 200bhp, some 1.6 litre engines have nearly as much as the renault lump. Apart from that i like it

whats the max speed yours gos to in second, mine is just under 60mph which is surprising, will only just go over 60 by the time i am changing gear, or hit the rev limiter

got a 172 mk2 and got the sevice done for free when i bought it. it had done 6500 miles but by the time the service was done it was at 10000 miles due to my driving to scotland and back a few times when i got it. Should i service it at 22000 miles or wait till the 24000, bit worried about the...
