Personally I think V6 clios have reached a peak in value. Ones to appreciate in value will be Clio Williams 172 Cup ( but completely standard non track prepared with good history) 182 Trophy 197 F1 Team Basically the well received special editions that are more than 5 years old where numbers...

Mine did the same, dampers needed refurb and a track rod end needs doing ( as yours as been refurbished id say track rod end)

Mine need the same doing. Just trying to justify a £900 bill

im in the same boat as the OP. Dampers are f@ck'd whats the rough cost of a refurb from Cornering force

Best advice I can give is to call your insurance company and they will have had all the facts and can advise you from there. There will be to many factors for anybody else to advise you. My guess though would be worst case you have to pay your excess but some insurance has that protected...

Nope still cant switch the airbags off and airbag light showing, tried resisters in everything but Airbag light still on Dont know why i bothered buying it TBH

Mine has been on for 2 years in the 172, Get it cleared for the MOT comes back on a mile down the road. Tried buying a RS Tuner but that still wont turn it off even with all the air bags removed. I think once its registered as going off it locks the ECU so it will always come back on, well...

Trophy springs are just eibach ones and top mounts will be the same as a 182 CUP Just give the dealer your reg, they can get the part numbers for you

There is a set of Ford RS seats on ebay @ £1200 I wonder if they would fit as i like the look of them. Fit though as in just bolt the Recaro subframe to them rather than having to fabricate anything. Anybody know?

My 172 would have puddles there also. Cleaned drainage holes in the front sill and changed my boot rubber seal and bone dry ever since.

Wow. I know they are rare and special and the Halo car for what we drive ( 1*2 etc) but £25000. Id rather get a whole host of different cars for that money that will be a 3rd car. Mind you makes the one for sale on here look cheap as chips. I've never driven one so probably should wait...

Soooooo. This maybe a silly question. Getting bucket seats to fit In the 172 do I need to get side mounts and runners. What happens to the existing runners and bolts of the current seats are they just binned? basically I need an idiots description of what I need thanks in advance

Every clio I've owned has that chip. Love this site sometimes, op tries to help somebody out who may be travelling along way only to be disappointed and gets flamed. Who wants to buy a £4400 car with suspension that needs a refurb, air con fixing and wheels sorting. FYI the suspension refurb...

Its worth a few hundred quid in parts surely? Well put my money were my mouth is and bid on it god knows what the misses will say with 3 clios on the drive if I win it but I'll just have to hide it in work
