Not sure if anyone off here, but spotted a UR as I was driving down there this morning. Was parked up in one of the car parks.

Got my letter the other day. Says it will cost me £95 if work needs going but it's FOC for them to check. Mine currently needs oiling as the catch doesn't return to its proper place. So when I open it, if I don't move it myself, it wont close.

I'm sure this has been asked many times, but couldn't find a thread with the answer I need. I want to upgrade my headlights as the ones in are cheap bulbs & not very bright. But I'm not 100% on what bulbs I need and car checkers on sites like autobulbsdirect and halfords have different answers...

Think those are the lights that come on when I turn on my ignition, but they go off straight away. Edit: Lights in the middle I'm on about, mine doesn't have the luxury of ABS or TCS as far as I'm aware :rasp:

There isn't always play in the wheels. Had my rear ones changed for recently because of the same noise, fixed the problem. But my wheels where solid.

This guy is a waste of air. Risking other peoples lives like that is just outrageous. But also can't work out how he's fitting that M5 through some of those gaps in the second video. Can't count how many times I cringed, squirmed or said "eek" or "jesus!" lol

I'm not suggesting that there will be a magical company that will give lower costs. I fully understand that there are many factors. I'm simply asking what insurance companies people are with so I can give them a go first. I've no issue with spending time ringing around, I have a car currently...

How much NCB you guys got?

Was just wondering if anyone knew any companies that do a reasonable price for that age & car. Come May this year I'll be 19 and have 1 year NCB and would love an RS. It's cost me over 3k to insure my 1.4 this year. I've seen people who say they've been insured for sub 2k at 18 on an RS so...

I'd never put vPower or anything similar anywhere near mine. Waste of money and good fuel haha.

What companies have you checked though? Don't use comparison sites, go direct to the company. Theres a million different insurers out there. There will always be one willing to go a bit cheaper if you haggle with quotes you've already recieved.
