Well today I stripped off wipers, scuttle panels etc to fit two brand new washer pumps. Had a complete nightmare of a time, couldn't get passenger side wiper off broke two wiper removal tools before I bought this...

Thanks for the link, appreciate it. Thought CLIP was software Renault used, didn't realise it was a ODB unit. So I just plug that in to car and laptop and it'll tell me everything about the car :wink:

Thanks for the tip. How do I know if I've moved the steering wheel sensor? Is it only Renault that have access to CLIP?

Thanks for the help, will check this out. My new steering wheel will be here next week and I've got washers to fit under seat runners. Perfect time to mess around in drivers foot well when there's nothing in the car to get in my way :wink:

Inspired by a poster above I changed my cabin filter, think it needed it...

Well bought a brand new Renault Clio 182 heater resisto, fitted it and still have the same problem, can get both hot or cold air out of unit but not one after the other. Have to turn ignition off :weary::angry:

Girlfriend text earlier to say my exhaust had arrived, can't wait to get it fitted :cool:

Changed my washer jet for Citroën/Alfa spray jets. Was a quick 5 minute job. Unfortunately the windscreen wash was still poor so I definitely need to change my pumps :anguished:

Hi, I've got an 04 Clio 182 FF and have an interesting fault with my climate control. I can set it to max temp and get hot air out of it, set it to min temp and get cold air out of it but not on the same journey. Whatever the temp is set to when I start the ignition is what it stays at. Puzzled...

Recently installed Recaros in my 182 and subsequently had the airbag warning light on, cleared it by fitting 3.3 ohm resistors from Maplins.

Potential bargain if it is true. Definitely tempted, still got an original Renault exhaust on mine that has seen better days. If you could order and pay on credit card you'd be protected.

Changed my worn rear exhaust mounts for new ones. Also hoovered out the car and put new car mats in :)

Looks nice in the pictures, good spec. As above the colour could be putting some people off, plus it's a bad time of year for selling a car.

You and me both. Love the look of these, never been 100% happy with the oem steering wheel but never wanted to change it because I wanted to retain cruise control.

Agree with the above, sounds like they are trying to pull your pants down.

Hi, sorry to hijack the thread but I've got the same head unit and leads using the link above and having the same issue with the steering controls not working, but I haven't got the same instructions you have. I've been sent a connects 2 CTSRN005.2 unit. Doesn't mention anything about cutting...

The "S" looks a little lost :) How do you find the Cooper S? What Clio did you have previously to compare to? Think a MCS will be my next car, German build quality and Clio like chuckability :D
