Hi, I've got the exact same problem. Tried fitting a new heater resistor but no joy. Do you have a picture of where the sensor is that needs connecting?
Thanks to all that posted, inspired by your ideas I parked the drivers side on the pavement, jacked up passenger side and supported with axle stands, which gave me enough room to get trolley jack under the front of car.
Hi, tried to change my engine and gearbox mounts on my 182 today. Read the guides and watched YouTube videos but unfortunately I still failed at first hurdle...
I couldn't fit my trolley jack under the car so I could support the engine /gearbox whilst I changed the mounts 😞
I've...
Thank you for the info and picture @NorthloopCup that's great, just what I needed. I was planning on running 300mm scenic discs with the pure motorsport brackets for the Brembo calipers. So it sounds like I'd be fine with 5mm H&R spacers
@NorthloopCup have you fitted the OZ superleggera's to your car whilst running 4 pot Brembo's? If so what brackets were you using and if using spacers what size? Thanks. Looking to run the same setup and as my car is a daily driver I would rather have everything I need before I start :cool:
Mine have arrived, took around two weeks to get here. The packaging was a bit damaged, Postman Pat hasn't been gentle but the calipers look OK, some paint missing where it's chipped off, nothing major. Need to order some brackets and contact George off here for the price of discs, pads and...
Thanks for the pictures & info Smokey, looks a great setup
@Sash have you had any joy out of the seller in regards to your different coloured and damaged calipers?
Just taken an Evol dog bone mount off my car after a week of driving. Couldn't put up with the extra noise in the cabin, there was some more vibration and car felt awesome when pushing on, gear change was better it was just the noise. Went back to a brand new standard mount. It is easy to fit a...
That's terrible. You can tell viewing the pictures on my phone they are a different colour and that packaging is a disgrace :rage::angry::cry:
Paid for mine Friday so will just St gave to wait and see what I get
Fitted my new steering wheel
Thanks to @*renaultsport172 for the wheel. Getting the airbag off the second clip was a right ****. Looks great fitted. Need to clean the airbag panel now, looks out of place.
Removed my seats so I could refit the under runner washers/spacers that the previous owner had removed. Thanks to @Andy's Autos for the washers, they are working a treat, can now move my seats forward and backwards. Whilst seats were out gave the car a good hoover out as it was a tip.
Then...
Well after last week's nightmare finally got the correct washer jet pumps (had to order 172 pumps, the 182 ones I was originally sent were wrong) and fitted them both. Windscreen wash is awesome now with the mist jets
Unfortunately xenon washes still aren't working 😞
