Hi,
A bit of advise needed from anyone who might know?
I've got a ph-quick on 17" superleggeras. I'm currently running on -30mm Koni springs and struts.
The car still looks a bit too tall?, so thinking of going -60mm.
Can anyone advise which springs will actually give a 60mm drop...
Has anyone go a Ph1 172 in titanium silver running on 16" standard cup Turinis also in silver.
I'm thining about bidding for some on ebay, so any photo would be really appreciated.
Cheers
C.
Nice day so........
Cheers to Ads-172 again for the 182 bumper and twin exhaust. That's my next job.
Although I have to say the ph1 rear shape is still making me wonder if it's the right thing to do.
Gorgeous day so took a couple of photos......
See if you can spot the sport badge tehe? I know most people on here won't like it but it looks ok in real life.
Not sure if it'll stay yet.. let me know what you think?
I bought a set of 17 inch Superleggeras with an offset of 42 for my 172 ph1.
Just pushed them out with 5mm eibach spacers and longer bolts, it's made a real difference with an extra 10mm track so much that I'm tempeted to go for 10mm each side. I looks like there's space, anyone else done this?
Here's my set of OZ F1 about to go for £100 on ebay.
Get yourself a bargin if your quick

You kow how tatty the ph1 wheels become. Anyone fitted an aftermarket wheels.
What did you do about the airbag? Any photos would be appreciated.
Cheers
Can anyone tell me if the spigot rings in the centre of the wheel helps to hold the wheel on? or is it just a locating device?
The reason is I have fitted some 17" superleggeras to my car but the centre hole is around 70mm, there doesn't seem to be any problems but wondering if it's safe...
Probably all bored with this repeated question, I'd really appreciate any advice.
Will 17" wheels fit a ph1 172 that's dropped 30mm okay?
Cheers for any help.
This off set thing confuses the hell out of me?
Surely if the higher the number the further away from the centre line the wheel is attached?
So do ET45 stick out 2mm further than ET 43?
Help?
Are these the best wheels or what?
I'm about to go for a set of Trophy turinis, anyone got photos of superleggeras to pursuade me otherwise?
Really appreciated. :-)
I'm going to upgrade the airfilter, has anyone got advise on the best for a ph1 172?
I've heard stories of some systems reducing power?
any comments appreciated?
Has anyone else noticed the trophy alloys currently on ebay for £9.99? !!!!!! They have on offset of ET 45 is this standard?
Also the same dude is selling a set of 17" Oz F1s.......... Almost seems too good to be true?
The time has come :-(
I'm now living on borrowed time with 44k on my W reg 172.
What kind of price am I looking at? Anyone recommend someone in Gloucestershire?
Hey friends,
Soz this subject is covered on many other threads but I must be bit thick.
Does anyone know the offset for Ph1 172 The wheel has 7J x 15-4 h2 43 stamped on the inside does this mean they are ET 43?
Also what is the standard offset for a set of Trophy wheels? There seems to be...
One thing that is just not good on a ph1 is the condition the steering wheels gets into, have anyone chaged their wheel.
Advise on the wheel would be appreciated.
Cheers.
Hey Friends,
I'm thinking of fitting a ph2 rear bumper to my titanium ph1. Any advise from those who've done it? Where to get the parts? is fitting easy? how about the painting?
Any advise appreciated.
Cheers.
Hey Friends,
I've got a Ph1 172 in titanium and I'm thinking about colour coding the strips handles etc..
Has anyone got advise on the best way of doing this? Is it as simple as getting the pats painted or is it better to replace the parts?
Any adise is appreciated.
Cheers.
