no. after the wrong map i re did the standard map. all was well. now i have the new map the rst will not connect to the ecu

yes. i tried a overrun map which liam also tried, now i have the rite map it wont connect.

iv done that. left it for a few hours. if the car would start id bin the rstuner

yet more rst problems. i have it connected to the car, click write cal, choose 98 map then get a message saying can not connect to ecu security, has anyone had this before, ?

yesterday i tried a map that anothwer user sent which didnt work, car wouldnt start after ect. i sent henk a screenshot and he emailed me a 98 map, i tried it today and now the rstuner wont connect to my ecu, i keep getting a error message, what could be wrong ?

i ordered the over run map from fastchip site. i sent a screenshot as usual and got a email back saying Your car doesn't support automatic VIN retrieval. Therefore the overrun calibration is not suitable for it. Only regular performance map. anyone else had this problem before ?

i found a site in portugal that does the manifold and downpipe for £300 so i ordered that. just need a link pipe now

Did the wheels arrive ?

Engine dynamics is much cheaper than ktec. I see a extra link pipe is needed for the 182. Would part of the 172 manifold not be the same ? I'm just gathering parts and info for a home brew kit rather than splash out all in one go

does anyone have the measurments of fitting stripes to the rb. i saw a thread ages ago with pics and measurments but cant find it now

this might be a long shot but can anyone tell me what size of bore the middle pipe in the pic is. 2.25 or 2.5 ? as i need to order a new clamp
