It's totally your choice, I'm with Chip on the 182 exhaust mind.. Just doesn't look right! I much prefer the neater and far more understated back end of the 172's! However I do love the colour of some 182's LY, RB etc etc.. So meh entirely up to you!

Take your pick! Theres a trick using an old socket, there's powerflex universal mounts that can be used and also prima racing do a cracking exhaust mount.

I'm gonna buy a new one, its handy enough for the fault reader!

I wouldn't do this as a way to increase horse power! I'd just do it for the kindness of giving the engine a spring clean.

Which model is this? Check the door seals and the sunroof if it has one.

I think it's more to do with keeping air flow smooth over gaps etc to stop panels and bonnets ripping off/open!?

Well Said ^ when I had my Corsa I just did cheap subtle and mostly OE+ mods to not effect re-sale too much as I knew it was all money towards a better car! Un-like my friend with a Saxo who chalkboard painted the bonnet and flipped the rear beam. Sold it in the end for £350 ha!

Exactly what I forgot to mention Dave! With the second attempt I didn't actually cut it/drill it as i knew any removal of the material seriously weakens it. I tried mounting it the other way so that the hanger was resting on the middle bar of the powerflex mount but it wasn't good and split...

Bug and tar remover. Oh an you'll need a can of elbow grease!

Perhaps my Ktec stealth was just too heavy for it!
