i would probably chnage the comps, im not a fan of the new rockford gear, havnt heard these, but thats my general veiw of there new stuff (although i love there old skool stuff)
id probably go for one of these...
so you have checked the fuse on the amp and in line with the power cable? also the ignition does not need to be on for the battery to be on.
to test the remote wire, get a volt meter, connect it to the end of the remote wire and the metal work, or you earth point.
no, your head unti will put out about 20 rms each channel top i would say, (the 4x50 is max rating, it woudnt actuially do that)
50x2rms amp would do nicely for a set of those probably, but it would be better to get a set of components for the front and use the amp to amp those rather than the...
well, if you get a sub, and you leave your 6*9s there will be some bass cancelation issues as it unlikely that both will be in perfect phase and they will probably be overlapping.
Also the force of the sub, will force the cones of the 6*9 to move move, damaging the 6*9s
also 6*9s...
or some companies just wont accpet it, ie churchill, if you havnt earnt them they wont give them to you, but they are cheap enough for me anyway (£700 at 19 with 1 NCB on my 1.2!, £400 next year!!!)
so your total fuse rating is 70amps? and you have a 90 amp alt. well, you not really going to be drawing 70 amps for more than a seocnd, unless this is what you have mesured it to be rather than fused.
have you upgraded the big three...
^^ agreed, try moving your earth point, and if you have more than one earth, make sure that all amps are earthed at the same point.
Its unlikly to be the speaker cables, as they have too low a voltage, it may be the RCA cables (they should be on the oppiste side to the power as well as the...
basically, sony dont make good HU, i have had a xplod HU, and it was not good, it did look OK with all the flashing lights, but thats it.
Sony have only made a few HU that i would i buy, they are now reasonably old, and stillgo for much much more than this unit!
go for an alpine, nak or...
well, the HU, not at all single din slot, not connectors needed (IIRC)
Amp - not really, get the power cable through the bonnet release gromet or drill a new whole (rca cables can make it a bit tricky to get HU back in - only in rare cases!)
Sub - same as any car if its in the boot
comps -...

id prob go for one of those!
its there to stop luggage hitting the rear seat under large breacking, nothing structural to the car,the bolt are large due to the fact the a suitcase flying forward whe emergency breacking from 70mph will create a large force.
just get some decent comps

please steer clear of that amp!! although it will only just over power them, as the subs are 250 rms and 4hom VCs that amp pushes (supposedly) 2* 300rms into 4ohms.
But its not a great amp - especially for that money! eg this...
you cant really judge a power kit by max power, what gauage power cable is it should probably 8awg, if it doesnt say whats its diameter.
If your running more power through a cable. its going to need a larger diamter (if your at the limit of you cable now)
If you can afford it id go for this...
have you got an amp? if not dont buy the 6*9s and by something like this
http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=3581http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=3581
and then spend the extra on somthing like this...
well you prob have a max total of about 80amps being draw, and you will not reach this (as if you went above the fuse would blow!)
if i were you id rerun the 12v cable with 0 gauge (or if you cant afford it 2), replace the factory ground wire between the battery and the car chassis with at...
