Sorry if this has been covered before but who has found some good shiny metal valve covers instead of black plastic ones and preferably with a renault logo on them ? i saw some on an identical car to mine the other day and yes, it is a small and insignificant thing but looked quite smart...

I am right in thinking that my 2000 W reg clio will need its first MOT this year (end of month i believe) and I wont be able to get tax without a valid MOT certificate???

has anyone installed a TV/video etc. screen in their clio and do they have piccies of where you installed it ??? I have (as my title thingy suggests) a MK1 172 and all the curvey bits inside on the dash etc. make it difficult to imagine a square thing looking nice..... Just wondered where...

yes.... new pads fitted this evening while i stood and chatted to the bloke... For a laugh, i rang renault and asked them how much it would be; New front pads £40 ish ex VAT 1 1/2 Hours labour at £52.00 p/hour ex VAT Hmm so about £140 then i asked... "yes, thats right" "thankyou" i...

thats the thing.. theres no vibration... just a horrible grinding noise !!

rang my mechanic blokey i use and he said (when i said about the rusty bit in the middle now being shiny) new pads. so i will try this and see how it goes.
