no, the amp is fused from the battery to the amp on the live feed, so one on the remote cable wouldnt matter, or am i wrong?- sandshrew3000

cheers for the help, got it sorted now. i just ran the remote wire up the drivers side and placed a switch under the seat then ran it back down to the amp, using the live and earth terminals on the amp.- sandshrew3000

amp not powering up
it was a broked fuse, even tho it was brand new! just got to hide the wires now and fit the head unit propery as it keeps jumping, thanks for the help folks!- sandshrew3000

put the romote lead in but still nothing happening and also im not getting sound out the bak speakers. anyother suggestions? its a sony cdx 3350 hu and a toxic tx-500 amp. btw.- sandshrew3000

hmmm ok, a brand new fuse went in, terminals is in, it could be the remote wire- how do you do that? and its defo not the earth wire cuz i solderd it in!- sandshrew3000
