I was only messing around mate, dont expect any gains from an exhaust is probably the best mentality to adopt, if you feel like you have gained after you install it then all the better for you.
If you need a new exhaust and your friend has a good condition exhaust for £25 then that seems to me...
yes you need to put something on to act as a sealant between the 2 surfaces.
ideally you have exhaust paste (its like tooth paste) rather than the putty.
you must clean the mating surfaces - use sand paper then give the 2 sections a trial fit to make sure it all goes up ok, as when the paste is...
do you want it to have any movement or to just sit as close to the wall as possible?
i have installed these mounts before and they are fine for the job...
glad your having fun with it, belts is a fun job to do especially the first try on that car and working out the best way to get things done!
get new fog lights from renault, they make a massive difference!
thats right pass side is slooooow! lol, press both switches for turbo power lol, if its the crank seal oil will be all around the box as its spun out if that makes sense, if its a dribble i doubt it.
Hey Jamie,
Looks well, i just fully re-did a valver with a F7R engine (rebuilt head) and have gone through the process of replacing all the seals/rubbers etc.. if you need any part numbers etc do let me know. i also got good discount on renault parts and as you say the parts are very cheap...
