with my old car (1.0 f reg v dub polo) i was just about to leave the garage after a mot and a bloke started chatting to me about the mpg nd crap like that

ive had a central locking motor replaced (due to fault), speedo sensor (due to fault) replaced, air filter cover come off numerous time while driving, new exhaust backbox since i first got it in mid july
i hope all these faults were due to negligence from the previous owner and...

it is the easiest thing ever
the only problems you might face is with the aerial lead (connection on the back of h.u. may be wrong type but easilly sorted with a lead converting the aeriel lead to a male fitting)
and you may also have abit of problems...
it sort of twists on then theres a little clip that keeps it in place. the only problem is keeping this clip down to stop it twisting itself off hence the cable ties
ive got a 1.2 mk2 ph1 and the air filter cover keeps coming off every 1000miles. ive tried to cable tie it on but still keeps doing (well with the cable tie it does stay on for longer)
any ideas on what i can do for a permenant fix

the reason i said cheap is that i know it is pointless doing anything to a 1.2. im not one of these pikeys going down to the asda car park every night to rev the b****cks off the engine, attempt handbrake turns, wheelspin at every possible junction etc etc. because i actually use my car for work...
can anyone recommend a head unit for my clio that is compatible with the steering wheel controls on a mk2 ph1
