Hi guys, decided the other week to remove the acoustic valve as I wanted more air flow onto my open (heat soaked) K&N 57i. I recently ordered some air tubing from ven air (thanks andy905) I did a quick experiment after with a hair dryer to see how much air was getting there and I must say I...

Anyone tried or fitted a thermometer under the bonnet to get a realistic view on engine temperatures? Im considering doing this to check how much heat soak my induction kit is suffering. If it is really bad, I may swap back to the box with panel filter. :dapprove:

How often do you guys change your oil? 172/182? I've done about 4000miles since the 12 k service and know it need a small top up. But thought maybe its better if just do an oil changer now? What do you think? :cool:
